Following the casting of young Storm, Cyclops and Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse, Bryan Singer has unveiled the latest casting for the next chapter in the mutant saga.

The director posted that Kodi Smit-McPhee will star as the character, previously played by Alan Cumming in X-Men 2, on his Instagram.

Smit-McPhee has built up an impressive body of work over the years, starring in The Road, The Congress, Paranorman, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and Let Me In, and he’s excellent casting for the blue-skinned, heartfelt, swashbuckling German teleporting mutant. Bamf.
