Warner Bros are said to be close to choosing a director for their solo Wonder Woman movie, and it’s one of the first names to be rumoured for the job.
The Wrap reports that Michelle MacLaren is now at the top of the shortlist to direct Gal Gadot. Like Thor: The Dark World‘s Alan Taylor, she’s worked on Game Of Thrones, but she’s probably best known for her spectacular work on Breaking Bad, as well as The Walking Dead.
The site notes that neither MacLaren nor Warner Bros have commented on the story, but we will say that it’s high time that somebody gave her a bigger movie to direct than 2006’s DTV Jeremy Sisto chiller Population 436, which we have just remembered we’ve actually seen.
