Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Warner Bros’ president of worldwide marketing Sue Kroll revealed that while a Wonder Woman movie isn’t currently in the works, if people take to Gal Gadot’s incarnation of the character in Batman Vs Superman and Justice League, she could wind up with her own solo movie.
“That is our hope,” said Kroll.
“With the right script, that could be viable. The world is ready for her.”
Gal Gadot, meanwhile, is deep in training for the role, despite an internet backlash that has more to do with a poor understanding of what an athletic woman’s body would look like and not any genuine concerns, posted the following image in February:
