Walter Koenig, best known for playing the Enterpise’s Russian tactical officer Ensign Pavel Chekhov in the original series of Star Trek as well as Alfred Bester in Babylon 5, has finally gotten a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame – he joins fellow Trek alumni Gene Roddenberry, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, Nichelle Nichols and George Takei, and, frankly, it’s about time,
Koenig told Startrek.com, “I certainly do feel honored. It means that my modest body of work has some meaning and has been acknowledged. That’s always a very nice feeling.”
