We’ve really been impressed with the new cast members joining Twin Peaks Season 3, both in terms of their excellence, and because it’s so easy to see them fitting into a David Lynch-style world.
Now, the cast has just got even better, as the most excellent Jennifer Jason Leigh has reportedly joined the cast in an obviously unknown role.
Deadline reports that she was seen filming on the project, although the production hasn’t officially commented.
They also mention a rumour that Lynch is trying to get his Mulholland Drive star Naomi Watts on board.
She joins fellow new arrivals Peter Sarsgaard, Amanda Seyfried, Robert Knepper and Balthazar Getty.
Leigh is the star of Last Exit To Brooklyn, Synecdoche, New York, eXistenZ among many others, and she’ll next be seen in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight.
