Tusk new clip Justin Long is right to be scared

Dying in Canada is not on Justin Long’s to-do list in new clip from Kevin Smith’s Tusk

A new clip from Kevin Smith’s Tusk has arrived to coincide with the horror film’s premiere at Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend.

The film stars Drag Me To Hell‘s Justin Long as Wallace Bryton, a podcaster who travels to Canada to meet Howard Howe (Red State‘s Michael Parks), a man with a strange obsession with walruses. Bryton realises too late that Howe has sinister intentions and they involve some drastic alterations to his physique.

So far it looks like Smith is having a great time blending dark comedy and body horror; the question is obviously whether the premise can be sustained over the course of a whole film. We like what we’ve seen so far, so flippers crossed, everyone.

Tusk does not currently have a UK release date. You can keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
