Tron Legacy trailer goes live

There is something peculiar about the highly-anticipated sequel to Eighties classic Tron – the furore that ignited the project didn’t come from fans pining for a follow-up but instead from inside the studio responsible for the original. There’s little doubt about it: Tron Legacy is a passion project for Walt Disney Studios and, come 2011, it will be the studio’s flagship foray into the third dimension.

The new trailer, which debuted at Comic-Con, is ready to view below and more than hints at the type of CG aesthetic we can expect.
