Following on from the announcement earlier in the week that something big was happening on 31 May regarding Transformers: The Last Knight. Now, we can confirm that this is indeed the case, as director Michael Bay has taken to Instragram to reveal that the fifth Transformers movie’s main villain will be none other than… Megatron.
Yep, despite having died twice already – not to mention having been turned into Galvatron in Age Of Extinction – the Transformers’ main big bad will return once more. It hasn’t been announced yet whether he’ll be voiced by Frank Welker (Galvatron) or Hugo Weaving (Megatron), but whatever happens, fans are sure to be excited.
Michael Bay is returning to the director’s chair, with returning stars Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel and Peter Cullen confirmed alongside newcomers Isabela Moner, Jerrod Carmichael and Allen Phoenix.
