New characters will pop up in The Walking Dead Season 2 when it returns early next year. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, comic book co-creator Robert Kirkman says that fans can expect to see some of these new figures as soon as episode 8.
“We will see some new characters popping up as early as the [2012] premiere episode,” he explains. In answer to whether iconic characters like The Governor and sword-wielding Michonne will turn up then, Kirkman says that they’re on the cards for the show, if not in the near-future. “I can say only that we will see them eventually.”
Kirkman also explained that we’ll soon find out what Jenner said to Rick at the close of season one. We saw a couple of new faces in the show when we visited the set earlier this year. More on that soon in SciFiNow…
