Stephen King’s The Stand has chosen another director as the film continues to try to get off the ground: The Fault In Our Stars‘ Josh Boone.
According to Variety, Boone is the latest in a series of filmmakers to attempt to wrestle King’s leviathan of a book into a film. He follows Harry Potter‘s David Yates, Out Of The Furnace‘s Scott Cooper, and Argo‘s Ben Affleck in the director’s chair.
The site notes that the director is friends with King, having included his voice in gentle romcom Stuck In Love. His most recent film, The Fault In Our Stars, starred Divergent‘s Shailene Woodley.
