Jeremy Sisto and Mary Elizabeth Winstead have joined the increasingly excellent cast of A&E’s The Returned remake.
Variety and Deadline report that Winstead (Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Death Proof, The Thing) will play Rowan, the girlfriend of musician Simon (Mat Vairo), who has to deal with her late boyfriend’s return.
Sisto (May, Wrong Turn, Suburgatory) will take on the role of Peter, Peter, “a psychologist who runs a grief support group locals struggling with the loss of loved ones.”
Agnes Bruckner (24, The Woods) and Sandrine Holt (House Of Cards) have also been cast. Holt will play “a competent compassionate doctor who is struggling in her personal life” while Bruckner plays the sheriff’s (Kevin Alejandro) chief deputy.
