Well, that was a bit sudden. Having recently finished work on the Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe-starring actioner Nice Guys, it would appear that Shane Black is moving full steam ahead on his next project, a Predator sequel (not a remake, apparently). Now, it officially has a title: The Predator.
Working from a screenplay by Fred Dekker (RoboCop 3, The Monster Squad), it would seem that Black is attempting to replicate the now-you-see-him, now-you-don’t thrills of John McTiernan’s 1987 original, at least judging by the below poster’s tagline, as revealed on Facebook. Let’s hope so…
