The Mind’s Eye trailer promises retro brain-exploding fun

Get ready for exploding heads with The Mind’s Eye trailer

We were big fans of Almost Human writer-director Joe Begos’ Scanners-esque throwback The Mind’s Eye when it played at FrightFest Glasgow earlier this year, and now there’s finally a trailer for it ahead of its US release from EW.

The movie stars Graham Skipper (Almost Human), Lauren Ashley Carter (Darling), John Speredakos (The Innkeepers), Noah Segan (Looper), Jeremy Gardner (The Battery) and Larry Fessenden (all your favourite indie horrors).

Speredakos plays an evil doctor who imprisons those with telekinetic abilities, while Skipper stars as the one man with powers strong enough to bring him down. It’s a sincere and hugely entertaining love letter to the exploding head movies of the 80s and early 90s, and we can’t wait to see it again.
