Though the Supergirl TV series shares a showrunner with The CW’s Arrow and The Flash in the form of Greg Berlanti, and the writer/producer previously teased the “possiblity” of a shared universe, nothing was set in stone and with the show in development with CBS rather than The CW (which is owned by Warner Bros, the parent brand of DC Comics), it seemed more than a little optimistic.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that having the shows on rival networks is no barrier saying “it’s possible.”
The site adds (with no confirmation or denial from Guggenheim) that “it’s in Greg’s deal, that Supergirl can cross over with Flash and/or Arrow.”
It’d be an oversight if not…
