Da Vinci’s Demons is back for another action-packed episode.
In Friday night’s episode Lorenzo and Clarice suffer a major backlash after the execution of the conspirators and Pope Sixtus’ aggressive measures threaten the entire future of Florence.
In an effort to save his city Lorenzo and Piero embark on the long and dangerous journey to Naples to negotiate with King Ferrante. Meanwhile Clarice is confronted by a supposed family member who has a lot of inside knowledge about the Medici family and promises to aid Clarice in Lorenzo’s absence.
Our hero Leonardo Da Vinci hilariously tries to impersonate Riario, complete with dark glasses, in order to gain control of a ship which he hopes will take him closer to the legendary Book of Leaves. When this plan fails he is forced to be more creative and invents a technical underwater device to sneak on board. Lucrezia unveils a surprising revelation as she embarks on a deeply personal mission of her own.
With Florence becoming ever more vulnerable and its hero and ruler both travelling away, its future is far from secure, and the lives of the two blood brothers are held in the balance.
