Star Wars fans in the UK have some good news today, as it’s been confirmed that Episode VII: The Force Awakens will hit British cinemas on 17 December, one day before the US.
The BBC reported on a Facebook post from the official film page, which revealed that the film will hit the UK one day earlier than previously reported.
However, before we start getting too smug, the report also notes that viewers in France are actually the big winners, as The Force Awakens opens there on 16 December.
