Star Wars: Episode 7: Harrison Ford is a definite

George Lucas seems to confirm Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill for Episode 7?

Speaking to Bloomberg Business Week, Lucasfilm founder and Star Wars creator George Lucas may have accidentally let it slip that the original trilogy’s original trio, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, and Harrison Ford as Han Solo, will be back for JJ Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode 7.

“We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison—or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation,” said Lucas.

“So I called them to say, ‘Look, this is what’s going on.’ He pauses. ‘Maybe I’m not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them.”

Carrie Fisher’s on the record as involved, Mark Hamill is reported to have not yet signed, and rumours have been floating around the more elusive and bankable Harrison Ford, but it’s great to get it straight from the Force’s mouth.

HAR HAR HARRR. Sorry.
