Spaceships appear over 29 of the world’s major cities, yet the alien ‘Visitors’ aboard declare they come in peace. The leader, Anna, explains that her race merely wants to exchange their futuristic technology for Earth’s water and minerals. The FBI’s Erica Evans and her partner Dale Maddox infiltrate a terrorist group, which may be involved in a plot. A Catholic priest named Jack Landry is extremely suspicious of these Visitors, and soon enough his fears are confirmed when he meets a man who claims to know why the Visitors are really on Earth. Erica and Dale’s investigations lead them to Georgie Sutton, a man who strongly believes the disguised Visitors have been infiltrating Earth for years. They interrupt a meeting he is holding only for it to be attacked by a group of Visitors, one of these turns out to be Dale. They escape with businessman Ryan Nichols, who admits he is a Visitor but has defected onto Earth’s side. So begins the resistance.
