Sam and Dean are called up to investigate a strange case where a wife swears the Incredible Hulk killed her husband. It turns out the Trickster is to blame, and soon enough he lures the pair into a series of TV shows. Castiel informs them that something more powerful than the Trickster is to blame for this trap. The Trickster admits that this plan is to teach them a lesson and that the apocalypse must go ahead. After trapping the Trickster it turns out Garbriel is behind the whole thing – he took the form of the Trickster after leaving heaven. Gabriel tells Sam and Dean it is their destiny to be vessels for Michael and Lucifer. With this knowledge to hand, Sam, Dean and Castiel leave their alternate reality prison.
