After witnessing, in a flashback, the destruction of Kandor we cut back to Zod as he tells his troops that old enemy Jor-El is the Blur. Back at the Watchtower and Chloe continues her search for the Kandorians. Despite knowing that the Blur is Clark, Chloe holds this info back from her new partner Zod. Chloe meets a confused Jor-El at the Kent farm, and learns that a long time ago Zod saved his life. She tells him about his son, Clark. He is soon captured and taken to the Luthor mansion. Zod demands that the captive Jor-El hand over his powers, he is tortured into admitting he used blue kryptonite to stop the Kandorians ever ruling. It is then that Zod realises it is Jor-El’s son he must seek. Clark arrives at the mansion and forces Tess to tell him where his father is. He is directed back to the farm only to have his father die in his arms.
