Noah figures out that Claire has gained possession of the compass; grabbing Lauren for company the two go and find her. This leads to a run in with one of Samuel’s cronies. Around this time Angela Petrelli meets up with Peter and tells him to accept Nathan is dead. Peter won’t accept this and attempts to coax Nathan out of Sylar; this results in a brief fight, which ends with Nathan morphing back and telling his friend to move on. At the carnival Lydia informs Samuel that she knows he killed Joseph. Straight after this Claire arrives at the carnival and right into Samuel’s clutches. This prompts Samuel to announce that he is starting up a refuge for people with special powers. After this a montage of images show Hiro, Ando and Mohinder running through forestry, Sylar putting on is black hat and, finally, Claire staring in admiration at Samuel.
