Bruce Greenwood, star of Star Trek, The Place Beyond The Pines and Super 8, has joined the cast of supernatural action thriller Spectral.
The Wrap reports that Greenwood has been cast alongside James Badge Dale (World War Z, Shame), Cory Hardrict (Warm Bodies) and Max Martini (Pacific Rim) in the film that’s being described as “a supernatural Black Hawk Down.”
Plot details are a bit vague, but we know that the gist is that it follows a group of soldiers facing a supernatural threat in Manhattan, and that it’s also been pitched as a more serious take on Ghostbusters.
Nic Mathieu is making his directorial debut with the film.
