The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘s Jamie Foxx has revealed that one superhero franchise just isn’t enough and he’s doggedly pursuing a role in the proposed reboot of Image Comics’ antihero Spawn, as well as a spot in a biopic of boxer Mike Tyson (which isn’t really relevant here).

“Spawn is one, yeah, and Mike Tyson,” he confirmed in an interview Movies.com. “Those are two roles I would just love to do. I’m aggressively pursuing them.”

Spawn follows Al Simmons, a government assassin betrayed and returned from the dead through a deal with a devil, and was the subject of a pretty bloody awful 1997 live-action movie as well as a cult animated series
