Sleepaway Camp, the 1983 slasher movie which is more famous for its ending than anything else, is getting a remake.
Deadline reports that former Fox and New Line exec Jeff Katz has optioned Sleepaway Camp for a reboot.
“At Camp Arawak teenage boys and girls learn to experience the joys of nature as well as each other. But when these happy campers die in a series of horrible ‘accidents’ it becomes clear that someone – or something – has turned their summer of fun into a vacation to dismember.”
