The long mooted toy-to-film adaptation we’ve all been waiting for has moved out of development hell and into the light, with Sky High and Shrek Forever After director Mike Mitchell signed on to helm DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls movie from a script by Erica Rivinoja (South Park, Up All Night).
The press release describes the film as “a grand scale musical comedy centering around how the Trolls came into their vibrant and colorful hair.”
This is a good time as any to remind you of Battle Trolls, my big haired flavour of choice – I had the Terminator one and the punk one. Brutal.
