Ethan Hawke reunites with his Daybreakers directors for time travel thriller Predestination

predestinationA new poster for the upcoming Ethan Hawke thriller Predestination has appeared.

The poster (via Arrow In The Head) boasts some very strong reviews for the film, which puts Hawke back together with his Daybreakers directors The Speirig Brothers.

“The pic chronicles the life of a Temporal Agent (Hawke) sent on an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to ensure the continuation of his law enforcement career for all eternity. Now, on his final assignment, the Agent must pursue the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time.”

The cast also includes Sarah Snook (Sleeping Beauty, Jessabelle) and the always-brilliant Noah Taylor (most recently seen in Game Of Thrones and Edge Of Tomorrow).

Daybreakers was an underrated spin on the vampire genre that didn’t really have the budget to match its ideas and style (and, lest we forget, Willem Dafoe played a vampire hunter called Elvis and Sam Neill was the vampire overlord, so they know a thing or two about casting as well). If The Spierig Brothers have built on that to make a film as good as the early word of mouth suggests it is, Predestination could be quite special.

Predestination does not currently have a release date. You can buy Daybreakers on Blu-ray for £8.02 at Amazon.co.uk.
