New Monsters trailer

by James Rundle

Mexico is going down.

The new trailer for Monsters has been released, featuring a more enhanced look at the creatures of the film.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, Monsters has received a lot of coverage for its style of film and the incredibly low cost of production. Costing around £250,000, Edwards employed guerilla filming and the effects were created entirely using prosumer software available on the market. The film will be released on 12 November 2010 – we’ll be seeing it next week however, and depending on review embargoes we hope to bring you our verdict before that.

After viewing this trailer, we’re quite excited. What about you?

Looks good can’t wait!!!!! trailer keeps u guessing on what the monster is a little like the trailer for cloverfield first did. Be intresting to see what gareth edwards can deliver movie wise as i think this is his first step up to movies from t.v. and as a director.

From the Trailer I’m excited for sure!! If it turns out like District 9 this will be the way of future entertainment. Low cost but high control of the film. I wish him luck!!

Intriguing shots of “what the hell was that?” Monster and it looks well produced and acted… This could be a great film and worthwhile before Super 8 arrives… :)

Excellent. A thinking Sci Fi for those of us who are sick of the mass marketed “Avatar” rubbish.
