Both Simon (Iwan Rheon) and Alisha (Antonia Thomas) have enjoyed an incredible character arc across the three seasons of E4’s hit superhero comedy-drama Misfits, but Season Three is, sadly, their last.
The season finale ends with Alisha dead, and Simon going back in time where he dies in Season 2 (confused? Sorry!), and both actors have confirmed it’s the end of the line, with Rheon saying, “Thanks for all the comments and support. I’m so grateful for the opportunity that Misfits gave me and all the fun I had doing it. But I have left now and look forward to doing exciting new things. The show must go on!”
Thomas also commented, “I won’t be coming back for series 4 but I can’t wait to see it! I’ve had an amazing time in Misfits – it has been epic!”
Unlike Nathan, Seth’s girlfriend and, er, loads of characters in the final episode, it looks like Simon and Alisha will be staying dead.
