Marvel’s Most Wanted casts Resident Evil and Devil Inside stars

Find out who will join Bobbi and Lance in SHIELD spinoff Marvel’s Most Wanted

With [SPOILERS AHEAD] Agents Of SHIELD seemingly setting itself up for a future without agents Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) and Bobbi ‘Mockingbird’ Morse (Adrianne Palicki), we can start to look forward to future spinoff Marvel’s Most Wanted, which judging by the title, will see the titular twosome go on the run. Now, we have news of an additional two names to be added to the cast: Oded Fehr and Fernanda Andrade.

Oded Fehr in Resident Evil: Extinction

First up, Fehr (who will be recognisable to readers as Carlos Oliviera in Resident Evil: Extinction and Retribution, as well as roles in the likes of The Mummy and Charmed) is playing an as-yet unnamed antagonist, with Marvel’s executive producer/head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb saying of his casting to Marvel.com,“When Oded came in to read for this part, we knew we found our guy… He carries with him a villainous charm that will strike perfectly for this role.”

Fernanda Andrade in The Devil Inside

Also on board is Fernanda Andrade (The Devil Inside), who will play Christina Santos, the niece of the already-cast Dominic Fortune (played by Delroy Lindo), described as a “woman of mystery” who helps Bobbi and Lance. “We needed our Christina to be a strong, beautiful woman who could be a partner to our Dominic Fortune,” said Loeb. “Fernanda brings that and so much more to the role and we’re thrilled to have her.”

For anyone in need of having their memories refreshed, the synopsis is as follows:

Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter are two ex-spies and ex-spouses who are on the run with no friends, no S.H.I.E.L.D., and a long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads. Able to trust no one but each other, Bobbi and Hunter form an uneasy alliance with Dominic Fortune, a rogue adventurer with a wealth of resources and even more adversaries, who agrees to protect them so long as they help him with his own agenda.  While on dangerous missions that take them to every corner of the globe these two heroes will help anyone in need, all while trying to uncover the conspiracy that put their own lives in jeopardy.

Agents OF SHIELD is airing now on E4, with a release date for Marvel’s Most Wanted to be announced at a later point. For more news about the latest TV series, pick up the new issue of SciFiNow.
