Marvel’s Agent Carter has made a link with Iron Man 2 after announcing Anton Vanko will make an appearance in the series.
Vanko, who will be played by The Americans star Costa Ronin, is the father of Ivan Vanko (Micky Rourke), the electricity-wielding villain and Big Bad of Iron Man 2.
Anton Vanko is the second Phase One dad set to appear on the show, the first being Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) who is, of course, the father of Tony Stark.
Howard Stark and Vanko are supposed to have worked together on the arc reactor technology in the past but they ended up having major beef. The two sharing scenes in Agent Carter is a dead cert, but it will be interesting to see how the dynamic plays out.
