The first picture for indie horror icon Larry Fessenden’s new film Beneath has appeared online.
The director of Wendigo and The Last Winter will show us what happens “When a bloodthirsty, underwater predator leaves a group of teens trapped on a leaking boat in the middle of a lake, the friends must choose between loyalty and survival in this monstrous morality tale.”
While you might not recognise his name, Fessenden is one of independent cinema’s most respected producers, having worked with filmmakers from Ti West (The House Of The Devil) to Brad Anderson (Session 9) to Kelly Reichardt (Wendy And Lucy). While his producing and acting credits are numerous, he’s directed relatively few films so this is one to watch out for.
