Hollywood industry journalist Nikki Finke is reporting that NBC has pulled the plug on Knight Rider. In her typically caustic fashion, Finke said: “Gee golly gosh, Jeff Zucker and Ben Silverman keep telling the media they’re doing a swell job. I’m told NBC now will forgo the last four episodes of Knight Rider and is shutting down at a total 18. This must be a new network primetime record for failure.”
Knight Rider recently reshuffled its cast and changed the direction of the show, following a poor showing in the ratings department. The remade series stars Justin Bruening as Mike Traceur, the son of the character played by David Hasselhoff in the classic version.

Once again is this not a case of shutting down a series before it has found its feet. My God if this was the case in the sixties there would be no Star Trek. I have watched some of this series and found it to be entertaining.
My family and I love watching Knight Rider, it’s absolutely brilliant I thing iys totaly daft they’ve pulled the plug on it, the should give it a chance, from what I’ve read its gone down a storm over here.

I have just finished watching the new Knight Rider series and have found it very entertaining. Admittedly the pilot film was not the best story line they could have used but the I remember the original series’ pilot was not that good either. I did enjoy the tie-in with the FBI story arc and indeed its conclusion as well as the episodes that followed making the series more in line with the original (ie Michael and Kitt helping ordinary people). It is an enjoyable show and should be renewed.
I watch the new series of knight rider and the series is brilliant ive injoyed every epsiode.I am disappointed they pulled the plug on it please give the series another go.The cast are brilliant and the story lines speak for them selfs please dont let this update knight rider go me and my wife injoy this update
