Josh Brolin (No Country For Old Men, Oldboy) is in talks to star in Jurassic World, which is now being described as a reboot.

Variety reports that the True Grit star has joined Bryce Dallas Howard (50/50, Twilight: Eclipse), Nick Robinson (The Kings Of Summer) and Ty Simpkins (Iron Man 3, Insidious) in talks for the film, and it’s worth noting that their report describes the film as a reboot. Rumours about whether the film will reboot the Jurassic Park series completely have been milling around for some time and now it’s looking more and more likely.

Safety Not Guaranteed‘s Colin Treverrow will direct Jurassic World from his and Derek Connolly’s script, based on an earlier screenplay by Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes‘ Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.

Jurassic World is set for release 12 June 2015. You can buy the Jurassic Park Trilogy on DVD for £8 at Amazon.co.uk.
