The current big name rumour forcing the internet into convulsions is that Joseph Gordon-Levitt, star of 2012 sci-fi hits Looper and The Dark Knight Rises, is in the running for the role of astronaut-turned-intergalactic freedom fighter Star-Lord in James Gunn’s Guardians Of The Galaxy.
The sausage machine of speculation has been cranking out flesh blobs of misinformation on this one for quite some time now, with names put forward include Chuck‘s Zachary Levi and X-Men‘s James Madsen.
Obviously why this one is interesting, is that not only was Joseph Gordon-Levitt Bruce Wayne’s implied heir in The Dark Knight Rises, but he’s also rumoured to be playing Batman in Warner Bros’ forthcoming Justice League movie.
