A new teaser trailer for JJ Abrams’ new mystery project has appeared, prompting discussion about what the film or TV series could be and how he found time to make it between Star Wars Episode VII and Star Trek Into Darkness.
The teaser, titled “Stranger”, teases the arrival of a rain-drenched figure before giving us a fairly Clive Barker-esque image of a man with his mouth sewn shut. So it’s probably not Star Wars.
One of the most credible theories is that this is in fact a trailer for JJ Abrams and Doug Dorst’s novel S which is set around found objects or other such multi-platform malarky, and the trailer uses a similar font to the promotional art on the Huffington Post website.
