JJ Abrams is currently focused on developing a Star Trek sequel for a prospective 2013 release, Viacom CEO Phillipe Dauman said today, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The director, who released the excellent Super 8 this year, is working on the film with frequent collaborators Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof.
