The adult trailer for Jennifer’s Body has been released onto the internet, showing the film in all of its…er, glory. Starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried, it follows the latter’s character, best friend of the former, who starts eating boys when she’s possessed by a demon. Seyfried’s character must kill her friend and then go after a Satan-worshipping rock band who summoned the carnivorous critter in the first place, while escaping from a correctional facility. The film is released on 18 September 2009.

This is a shameful indictment against modern film-making. Essentially, this entire film is marketed on the fact that Megan Fox will be appearing nude and possibly indulging in a bit of lesbian canoodling. I find it shocking that millions of dollars would be invested in such garbage…

What’s not to like here…
I’m not expecting cinematic quality, cohesive plot, stellar acting and a Bergmanesque exploration into darkness of the female psyche from this one.
I am counting on reams of stupid fun, beautfiul girls, gory violence, rockin’ tunes and a predicto-ending (the demon won’t be banished at all, but someone will turn around and look at the camera at the end of the movie, replete with yellow eyes and a ridiculous sound effect before the single-from-the-movie blares into life).
It looks brilliant – I can’t wait to see Megan’s Body.
I mean Jennifer’s Body.
