While we’re STILL waiting for The CW’s acclaimed iZombie to arrive here in the UK, the show is in its second season in the US, and it’s just got a boost.
Deadline reports that the network has given Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero’s zombie drama an order for another six episodes, bringing its Season Two total to 19, ahead of last year’s 13.
It’s an encouraging sign for a third season renewal for the show, which stars Rose McIver as Liv Moore, a Seattle medical examiner who gets to eat dead brains as a perk of the job. Of course, one side effect is that she has flashes of how the person she’s eating died, as well as absorbing some pesky personality traits.
iZombie also stars Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley and David Anders.
