Hi Andy, when casting actors for high profile projects such as "Dr Who" do you invite and subsequently cast actors based on their ability or by the prestigiousness of their Agent/Agency?

Hello Andy (Pryor).
I realise this probably isn't the right place, but weren't sure how to contact you.
I am a friend and student of Peter Woolridge. He said he would drop you a line to hopefully talk in my favour. He also advised me to send you my details. prob for the best as Pete is always busy with something!ha!
I'm a singer for a living, but always loved the skill of acting. I have also completed several of Peters tv and film courses, and was fortunate enough to gain some work from it also. Last thing I shot was an ad for radio wales, which apparently is still showing,(im the guy fishing!).
I'm 34 (young)well i think so! ha!
I'm a natural blonde!
5ft 8inches.
athletic/medium build.
quite fit.
not too bad on the eyes either. ha!
I would be extreamly greatful if you would consider giving me an audition for one of your projects. It would be not just an exiting honour, but a professional challenge, that I'd love to get my teeth into.
I hope this message reaches you.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read.
hope to hear from tou soon.
cheers. Mart!

I've just done a search on Mr Pryor's filmography searching the name of a female actor he cast in another BBC drama, noticing his high calibre projects spanning 15 years ago. I haven't got the name of the young actress, but I was moved by her achingly tiny part in the drama (Survivors).

Sincerely.
