Henriksen to auction Saturn Awards

by James Rundle

Veteran actor to put plaudits under the hammer in support of charity.

Henriksen to auction Saturn AwardsLance Henriksen, the actor behind Frank Black from Millennium, as well as a host of science-fiction film characters, is to auction several of his awards and a number of scripts for charity.

The auction, organised by the fan campaign BacktoFrankBlack and IBG Inc., will see a number of prized collectables going under the hammer for the benefit of Children Of The Night, a charity that supports young persons forced in prostitution. Among the lots will be Henriksen’s two Saturn Awards, signed scripts from across his career, and his nomination for the Golden Globe award. Mark Snow has offered up a signed version of the Millennium theme sheet music, while there will also be show props and crew memorabilia.

The auction doesn’t appear to have a set date yet, however, SciFiNow has contacted the organisers and will update this post when the information becomes available. Those interested in the event should continue to check http://www.backtofrankblack.com and http://www.ibginc.org for more information.
