The story will feature Prince Adam reaching the magical world of Eternia and getting embroiled in a battle with the evil Skeletor. The film is reportedly taking a grittier route and will see Adam on a quest to realise his destiny, an endeavour that will no doubt see him transform into the mighty He-Man.

Previous to this appointment, Daugherty has only one scripting credit to his name, that being the currently unproduced Shrapnel. As for Grayskull, the film is currently without a shooting date and as of yet no actors have been cast in the film.
