Harry Potter and Green Lantern writer takes on Wonder Woman movie

Michael Goldenberg, who wrote the script for Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix and Green Lantern, is writing the Wonder Woman movie reboot. Will Wonder Woman be the first female-fronted superhero hit?

Wonder Woman has been a mainstay of the DC Comics pantheon since 1942

Coming suspiciously soon after 2011’s Wonder Woman TV series fell over and died, Warner Bros have announced Green Lantern and Harry Potter And The Order Of The Pheonix screenwriter Michael Goldenberg has been hired to write the script for the amazin’ Amazon’s big screen outing.

With Warner Bros trying to string together a plausible Justice League movie, and given the batting about of the property in and out of development hell over the last decade or so, Goldenberg has a lot of work if he’s going to move Wonder Woman to a place where it not only delights the fans, but sets things up nicely for a mega-bucks crossover franchise.

Do you think it stands a chance, and who would you like to see play the lead role?
