Kevin Durand (Lost, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) has joined the cast of Guillermo del Toro’s The Strain.
Durand will play exterminator Vasily Fet, who teams up with Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) to fight the vampire outbreak, in the pilot for FX based on del Toro and Chuck Hogan’s trilogy of novels. Del Toro will direct the pilot, which he has co-written with Hogan, confirming his status as the busiest man in the world.
