According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ophelia Lovibond, star of 4,3,2,1 and Mr Popper’s Penguins, has been cast in James Gunn’s Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Lovibond will play “aide to a near-immortal being called The Collector, who gathers artefacts and beings in the hopes of saving them from a foretold galactic annihilation.”
This is the first time a villain has been confirmed by any credible source, and it’s tempting to assume that either The Collector is foreshadowing the coming of Thanos, or there’s a bigger, primary threat.
