Discussions to remake Joe Dante’s Gremlins are underway at Warner Bros. This isn’t the first time that the studio have looked to reboot the much-loved classic, but Vulture are reporting that original producer Steven Spielberg has effectively blocked it each time by virtue of his involvement being too expensive.
However, their sources seem optimistic that it will happen this time, so we may be seeing a new Gizmo sooner rather than later.
