Gary Oldman, Jay Baruchel (This Is The End, Goon) and Thomas Kretschmann (Dracula) are set to star in supernatural World War II horror Panzer 88.
According to BloodyDisgusting, the cast is in place for the film from writer Peter Briggs (Hellboy) about an “invincible German King Tiger tank retreats across icy tundra. Battle-weary, hungry and cold, its crack, five-man crew are unbroken. But fate twists when they reluctantly pick up a stranded SS officer. Unaware of his part in the massacre of a local Jewish village, it proves a fatal decision, as they become the prey of a vengeful and unstoppable mythical entity that hungers for their destruction.“
Beyond this announcement there’s been no information about when exactly the film will go into production, but if the casting sticks then it’s certainly got our interest.
