In yet another casting addition to Season 6 of Game Of Thrones, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that UnREAL star Freddie Stroma is joining the show, where he’ll be playing Dickon Tarly, the brother of Samwell Tarly.
Not a huge amount is known about Dickon, either in the show and the books, other than him being their heir to his formidable father, Randyll Tarly, after the latter forced Samwell to join the Night’s Watch. In this light, it’s pretty reasonable to expect that he’ll be the opposite to Samwell’s gentle giant.
When we last saw Samwell, he was heading off to Oldtown on a boat with Gilly (effectively for his own safety) in order to train as a Maester, so maybe we’ll get a family reunion of sorts.
