His first stop-motion animation since 2004’s The Corpse Bride, 1996’s James And The Giant Peach and 1993’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, and typically reunites director Tim Burton with a number of prior collaborators, including Winona Ryder (1990’s Edward Scissorhands and 1988’s Beetlejuice), Martin Landau (1999’s Sleepy Hollow, 2009’s 9, 1994’s Ed Wood), Catherine O’Hara (The Nightmare Before Christmas and 1988’s Beetlejuice), Martin Short (1994’s Mars Attacks!) and Conchata Ferrell (1988’s Edward Scissorhands).
