First look: 2012

Sometimes it’s just fun to blow shit up, or at least that’s what it seems disaster moviemaker Roland Emmerich must think. The new trailer for his latest big-budget destructothon, 2012, is now live and appears to star John Cusack as a regular guy trying to flee for safety as the world around him literally crumbles. We say ‘appears’ because we couldn’t quite tell just what the hell was going on amid the computer-generated apocalypse. Stuff gets shitted up. A lot. Right now, that’s all you need to know.

2012 will be released on 13 November from Sony Pictures.
