The line-up for FrightFest Glasgow 2014 has been announced, with Greg Mclean’s Wolf Creek 2, Ti West’s The Sacrament, and The Mo Brothers’ Killers ready to scare the life out of the audience from 28 February to 2 March.

Ti West will be on hand to talk to Alan Jones about his cult horror The Sacrament and his career as an indie filmmaker, while Jake West and Marc Morris will present Video Nasties: Draconian Days, the follow-up to their superb documentary Video Nasties: Moral Panic, Censorship and Videotape.

Greg Mclean’s hotly anticipated Wolf Creek 2 has to be one of the most exciting prospects, with John Jarratt’s deadly Mick Taylor making a return. American Mary‘s Katharine Isabelle stars in home-invasion horror Torment from Jordan Barker (The Marsh), while Joe Begos’ Almost Human has caused a good deal of buzz already on the festival circuit.

Mark Strong and Taissa Farmiga star in the Jaume Collet-Sera-produced Mindscape, while indies like Afflicted, Proxy, Savaged and The Scribbler (which stars Eliza Dushku, Michelle Trachtenberg and Katie Cassidy) are set to make an impression.

The film we’re most excited about, however, is Killers. From the makers of Macabre comes a serial killer movie that promises to thrill, disgust and stun. Co-director Timo Tjahjanto is responsible for The ABCs Of Death‘s ‘L for Libido’ and co-directed V/H/S/2‘s ‘Safe Haven’, so it’s safe to say we’re looking forward to it.

Tickets for FrightFest Glasgow 2014 go on sale on Friday 24 January at 10:00am. For information visit the FrightFest website.
